Who Should Attend

The purpose of this program is not to provide a cure for mental illness, but to define mental illness including major depressive and bipolar disorder and distinguish it form ordinary worry and unhappiness, thus aiding in changing the mindset of needing, seeking, encouraging, and providing help. We will also examine the clinical, faith, and policy implications associated with mental illness while connecting communities with leaders in each field to address the issues.

This colloquium series has been developed for healthcare professionals, social workers, faith and community-based contingency, clergy, mental health consumers, and policy makers.
